Quantity Surveyor

Scott Gebbie

Scott is an accomplished Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in managing multiple projects across infrastructure and construction industries in New Zealand. With his strong focus on attention to detail and precision, Scott has established himself as a reliable industry expert, known for his exceptional work ethic and collaborative approach.

Throughout his career, Scott has built a reputation for delivering high-quality results, forming collaborative relationships with various organisations, including the Christchurch City Council's engineering team, the Lyttelton Port Company's financial team - WT Partnership, and various Canterbury contractors.

As a specialist in procuring subcontract packages, Scott understands the importance of partnering with the right sub-contractors to achieve principal KPIs and enhance project margins consistently. He has invaluable knowledge of local construction rates and regulations, making him the go-to expert for opinions of commercial risk and opportunity for a wide range of teams assessing various options.

Scott is also an affiliate of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors, bringing a comprehensive understanding of NZS 3910 Conditions of Contract, NZS 3916 Conditions of Contract, NZS 4224:1983 Code of practice for measurement of civil engineering quantities and NZTA SMO14 "Cost Estimation Manual", making him an ideal candidate for providing estimate reviews and input for proposed tender documentation and contract overview.
